Bio: Anna Marie Trester is an interactional sociolinguist and story practitioner. As an independent consultant, and in collaboration with organizations like the FrameWorks Institute, she helps non-profits, government agencies, associations, academics, and others working to change the world communicate about their work in ways that are inviting, inclusive, and hopeful. Her most recent article, published in Language, explores career readiness through the lens of impact. She is co-editor of Discourse 2.0: Language and New Media and author of Bringing Linguistics to Work and Employing Linguistics. She helps linguists find professional expression of their skills — and helps the working world find linguists.
